Our annual Pro-Am is taking place on Friday 16th August 2024. This is always a very well supported event with a guaranteed £1,000 first prize for the winning Professional. Online entries are now open! If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, please contact the club office.
Our Ladies section run the Mixed Charity Open for over 55's a great event where all proceeds go to the Lady Captain's chosen charity for the year.
The Purley Trophy is our 36 hole Scratch Open Competition founded in 1970 by Charles Purley. The Purley Trophy has had many famous entrants over the year's including Sandy Lyle (1970 & 1975) and more recently, European Tour player, Gary Evans from Worthing Golf Club.
The Bognor Challenge Cup is a 36 hole handicap Men's Open Competition which dates back to 1924. This is a very prestigious competition and is the highlight of the golfing year for many at the club.
The Davis Bowl is in the morning and is an 18 Hole Foursomes event.
The Millbourn Cup played in the afternoon is an 18 Hole Fourball Better Ball Bogey event.
The Ladies Open, run by the Ladies Section is in July. It is a Bowmaker Stableford competition played in teams of 3 with 2 scores to count on all holes except the par 3's where all scores count. This event is very popular so get your entry in fast!
Our Junior Open is taking place on Sunday 8th September 2024. It is an individual event and we also play the Overton Salver for clubs that are represented by at least 4 junior members.
The Gilligan Mixed Foursomes is a 36 hole mixed foursomes competition.
