Our Over 55's Mixed Charity Open will be taking place on 14th May 2026. This is a Fourball Better Ball Stableford competition with the men playing from the yellow tees and the ladies from the red tees. The Purley Trophy is our 36 hole Scratch Open Competition founded in 1970 by Charles Purley. The Purley Trophy has had many famous entrants over the year's including Sandy Lyle (1970 & 1975) and more recently, European Tour player, Gary Evans from Worthing Golf Club. The Bognor Challenge Cup is a 36 hole handicap Men's Open Competition which dates back to 1924. This is a very prestigious competition and is the highlight of the golfing year for many at the club. The Ladies Open, run by the Ladies Section is in July. It is a Bowmaker Stableford competition played in teams of 3 with 2 scores to count on all holes except the par 3's where all scores count. Open to male visitors only, aged 50+. This is a 4 man team event with 3 Stableford scores to count per hole. The 2026 tournament will be taking place on Friday 12th June 2026. Online entries are now open, click on the photo to be taken to the online booking portal.

The Gilligan Mixed Foursomes is a 36 hole Mixed Foursomes Stableford competition. Lunch and meal after golf are included in the cost of the entry fee. Our Seniors Open is taking place on Thursday 23rd July 2026. This is an individual Stableford competition but also a team event for teams of 4 players. The competition is a shotgun start at 9.30 am. Please contact the club office if you would like to enter this event.
